Business will continue at the District during the federal government shutdown. While the doors at the office will remain locked, staff will be working to meet our obligations to landowners. The regular October Board meeting was held at the new Columbia REA Building and the SE Area meeting will be held there as well on October 15th. REA is allowing the District to use their conference center room at no charge. The Department of Ecology has agreed to process burn permits. Contact them at (509) 329-3400 and ask to speak to a member of the burn team.
