WWCCD is dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the natural resources of Walla Walla County, facilitated by working on a voluntary basis with landowners to identify opportunities and create solutions, while consistently providing education, information, and assistance whenever possible.
The next WWCCD Board Meeting will be held Monday, February 9th, at 4 p.m. at the District Office (325 N. 13th Ave.). Please note: The Walla Walla County Conservation District Board of Supervisors resolved on January 12, 2015, to proceed with informing the voting public that the incumbent (Todd Kimball) has been re-elected to the currently open seat by reason of being the only person filing for the position by the filing deadline. Therefore, pursuant to WAC 135-110-370, no poll site, absentee balloting or mail balloting will be performed. For further information, please contact the District Office or call (509) 522-6340.
We believe that complex environmental problems can be solved through voluntary cooperation rather than by regulatory mandates. We will do this by creating and then implementing proactive programs that respect both the need of landowners and the natural resources of the County.
