New rules regarding leave time.

The federal government, as part of the Covid-19 relief act, has added some new paid leave requirements on employers, including the Conservation Distinct. The district was advised to post this information on the district website. Information changes daily, so check the US Department of Labor website for the most current information.

“The federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) is in effect April 1, 2020-December 31, 2020 and provides for two sources of additional, paid leave for local government employees (as well as many private sector employees).”
