“Special Meeting” October 9th

The regular October board meeting is a Special Meeting and will be held at 5 p.m. on October 9th,  2018.  The Oct. 9, 2018 agenda includes discussion of the upcoming SE Area meeting and an update from NRCS.

The Open Public Meetings Act requires the district to inform the public whenever the board of supervisors meets to conduct business. Publishing the regular meeting schedule meets this requirement.  Any meetings held outside the regular meeting schedule must be special meetings and as such, the agenda must be posted.  The meeting this month, while officially a special meeting, is just the ordinary meeting of the board held a day later than usual.
