Soil Health
Walla Walla County Conservation District (WWCCD) is expanding our support for soil health projects and resources.
More information coming soon!
WWCCD is collaborating with the Washington State Department of Agriculture, WSU Extension, and the Washington State Soil Health Initiative to collect baseline soil health data for our region. This data will help shape the soil health resources we offer—and we hope it proves valuable to local farmers as well.
As part of our long-range work plan update (2026-2031), our board is placing a renewed emphasis on soil health, and we’re excited to expand the support we can provide in this area.
Check back soon for updates!
